
On Saturday, February 25, ARTspace took over Gilbert Lindsay Plaza at the Los Angeles Convention Center and hosted a dynamic series of site-specific performances entitled Un-space Ground, curated by Deborah Oliver and Ed Woodham, as part of a symposium devoted to art in the public realm.

On Thursday, February 23, Benjamin H. D. Buchloh addressed a packed house at the 12th Annual Distinguished Scholar Session Honoring Rosalind Krauss.Yve-Alain Bois chaired the panel which also included Harry Cooper, Benjamin H. D. Buchloh, Briony Fer, Hal Foster, and Ewa Lajer-Burcharth.

This year’s Book and Trade Fair presented over 120 exhibitors from all over the world displaying new publications, artists’ materials, digital resources, and innovative projects of interest to artists and scholars.

Joseph Lewis, Dean of the Claire Trevor School of the Arts UC Irvine (above), and several hundred attendees gathered to toast CAA’s 100th birthday at the Centennial Reception at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and enjoyed exclusive access to the museum’s galleries.
